STARTING TIMES & PAIRINGS:

  • The match play bracket and pairings will be released on Friday, July 29 online at scga.org/matchplay.
  • Players are encouraged to arrive at their assigned tee well in advance of their starting time, as the SCGA starter will have information to discuss and distribute to each player in the group.  Furthermore, players arriving late will be penalized under Rule 5.3a of the Rules of Golf.  For example, the 8:00 a.m. starting time is defined as 8:00:00, and players arriving after that time are considered late.  Lead groups should plan to be at their assigned tee 10 minutes in advance of their starting time.  Subsequent groups are encouraged to arrive in time to watch the group in front of them tee off.

DRIVING RANGE:

  • The driving range will be available one hour prior to the first starting time. Range balls will be provided.
  • Players should arrive on-site no earlier than one hour prior to their starting time and should limit driving range usage to 15 minutes.

TEES & YARDAGES:

  • Men Championship Division will play the BLACK tee markers.
  • Senior Championship Division will play the BLUE tee markers.
  • Women’s Championship Division will play the WHITE tee markers.
  • All divisions will play a mixed yardage each day. Refer to the Yardage Information section on the Event Portal for hole-by-hole yardages.

PRACTICE ROUNDS:

  • Practice rounds are a privilege, not a right. These opportunities may or may not be provided at the sole discretion of the host qualifying facility. Players are guests and must follow all club policies and guidelines regarding practice rounds. Player behavior during practice rounds will be subject to the SCGA Code of Conduct.
  • Players may make arrangements for practice rounds at their own expense by calling the course at (805) 388-2901 and identifying themselves as a participant in the qualifier.
  • Due to high member play, limited practice rounds are available Tuesday-Thursday in the afternoon. Green fees: $100; $17 cart fee for practice rounds.
